It has been confirmed I have an audition for the O2Academy Newcastle Soundwave Competition. I have decided my audition will be an acoustic version of Alex Clare’s ‘Too Close’. The winner receives a studio package plus press coverage including a live slot on radio.

Apart from spending most of my day in traffic, I have managed to spend the day recording with Gavin Hayes. Covering a song that isn’t very well known, written by Josh Kumra, “Call Off The Search” and also a song which features a Jason Mraz track with an Adele track. They’ll be on my music page in the next few days!
